Volvo S80 to be unveiled at New Delhi’s IGI Airport on March 19

In a unique move to promote their new 2014 S80
sedan, India will showcase the car at New
Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on
March 19, 2014.
The unveiling will also mark the opening of the first
ever exclusive Volvo Lounge at Terminal 3 of the
IGI airport. Also on display are two of their other
models including the XC60 and the more popular
sedan.
The 2014 S80 will rival the big boys of the industry.
In its crosshair will be the BMW 5-Series, Audi A6
and the gorgeous new Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
Since, the launch of the , Volvo
has stepped up its game in India offering
extremely value for money products in the premium
segment.
The 2014 Volvo S80 will retain most of its internals;
almost all of it, actually. The engine is a 2.0-liter,
5-cylinder, twin-turbocharged diesel with 163
horsepower of peak performance while producing
400 Nm of torque all of which is available from
1500-2750 rpm.
